Mid-South Regional " A Passion for Missions " October 5-7, 2006

This years Mid-South Founders Conference was held October 5-7 at South Woods Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. For three days, believers from all across the mid-south met together to further cultivate "A Passion for Missions." Our speakers taught us from varying ministry experiences, but the overwhelming cry of the conference was that of Jesus in Matthew 28, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you." We thank Dr. Michael Haykin, Pastor Ronnie Stevens, and the International Mission Board of the SBC's Regional Leader for Central Asia for teaching and challenging us to take seriously our Savior's command, and the power of God's grace found in the gospel. May God, through the gifts that He has given us through these men, glorify His name and pour mercy on all those who attended and who continue to hear these messages. |
